anyone would be pissed about losing CBS game to end the season. and the fact that this is even a possibility feeds into the innate chip-on-the-shoulder syndrome all hog fans have.

I did not read the whole thread (for my own sanity) but Arkansa's prime time games were with Alabama and LSU - the #1 and #2 teams in the country. That does tend to increase TV ratings. Georgia's main TV game was with Florida, who was not up to their recent standard.
Point: Your tv ratings are a reflection of who you are playing as well as who you are. You are successful because of the conference - it helps you more than you help it.
Perhaps this will end this thread - not because of the wisdom of the post, but just pure longevity.

I for one do not care who we play Thanksgiving weekend.
It's funny though, LSU is a better program but doesn't want any part of playing the Hogs that weekend. Arkansas actually has more history with both LSU and aTm. This boils down to LSU wanting an easier game and aTm desperately trying to find a replacement for Texas.
LSU is not a rival and neither is Mizzou. It doesn't matter who we play that weekend and having a game on Saturday instead of Friday will be a bit more convenient and I won't have to take a day off from work.
