Not surprising; it's pretty oldschool. The new script 'A' would be nice to have though. As it stands, it makes it all the easier for old codgers (or people with a healthy interest in football history) to accuse us of living in the past.

I really have never seen that one used. I'm 30 but guess still too young. I still have a heart for this one cause it's what I grew up loving.

I didn't either, I thought it was a knock off Bama script "A" cause they didn't wanna pay the price for the common logos. Hence the reason I thought the person using that logo on their car was cause it was cheaper cause it was a knock off Bama script "A". Which is basically what it is. I bet the right to use that A versus the one you actually see normally are a huge difference.

True, and if you take a closer look at the one I posted, I can't tell whether it was the original or a variation of the blocky A you posted. The top part of his hat was dented in, making it pretty tough to tell one way or the other.
Also, remember that the black and white picture is a good deal older than the one you posted, so who knows?
