I read the first part of it and thought it was an alter fricking with the board. But some of the guys stayed with it because the guy claiming to be Franks was upset about people calling him Lama. The admins figured it wasn't Franks either and killed it, but the regulars that stayed in the thread for about 5 pages swear it was Franks.

You'd have to go to the Help Board and ask the admins if they can resuscitate a whacked thread? I don't know if it's as easy as unanchoring a thread.
