I'll admit Sanford CAN be an imposing stadium, but for the most part it's mostly just idyllic and beautiful to look at and watch a game from. You kind of have to poke the fans with a stick or let them have a day to drink up before it gets crazy obnoxious. For you Hog fans making the trip for the first time this year, just wear something comfortable. Scheduling did neither of us any favors putting this game at noon in the middle of September, and though the conditions ain't swamp or Baton Rouge level bad, there's something to be said for Georgia heat and the wide-openness of Sanford.

i love the fact that its old and love the history of the dorms. I fricking hate the new upper deck with a passion and think that it ruins the coliseum look of the outside of the stadium.
I've been to Bama, Auburn (3x), Little Rock, Ole Miss, Florida, Kentucky, Georgia, and MSU.
1. Auburn
2. Bama
3. Ole Miss
4. Florida (went in 2008 and actually thought it was extremely overrated)
5. Little Rock
6. Georgia (had a good time before the game, but it was an extremely quiet stadium. Terrible atmosphere)
7. MSU
8. Kentucky

I've been to Arkansas, Auburn (2x), Florida, Vandy
Out of those....Florida was my favorite and would love to go back for a bigger game. Auburn and Arkansas are about the same in terms of impressions for me. I liked both. Especially Arkansas with the view surrounding the stadium. Vandy was just terrible.
