The WR screen is designed to spread the defense out in order to open the run game and the middle of the field. It also tires out the DL and LBs. The play is an integral part of most team's offensive game plans.
Throw in deep threats, solid RBs, a QB mobile enough to have to be accounted for, and you should have your choice of play calling as the game progresses.

You have what appears to be a good coach, a little momentum with a young team, and crazy fans. Appreciate watching your team and coach. And when Oct comes, talk all that smack about Bama and their OC enroute to your 25 point loss. Enjoy.

That makes it seem like you're suggesting Kiffin is actually a competent OC. Not one was highlighted in Alabama's offense under Nussmeier. That doesn't seem to be the case under Kiffin so far. We will see how our QB limitations are dealt with against good defenses.
