Guaranteed that Saban took this personally considering he has a close relationship to Pinkel. They played on the same college football team and were fairly close.

It's rumored that Saban is one of the reasons why Mizzou got an invite to join the SEC...to help his old college buddy Pinkel's football team escape the Big 12.

Trust me...Saban took it personally.

I loved that tackle. If you don't want to play in with the big dogs then get out of the yard. I think that was completely worth it.

Are you fricking kidding me?

Its one thing to hammer someone, to big a 'big boy'.

Its another thing to do a non football move and risk breaking someones neck.

Seriously, it was a very real possibility he could have broke his neck on that play. If that happened it would have gone down as one of the dirtiest plays ever.

This thread should be 1 page. Anyone that has a varying opinion on this is a fricking retard, no seriously. The play was ridiculous, dirty isn't even the right word.

Rueben Foster did the exact same thing less than 3 weeks ago.

And what is your point? That is is clean? That it is common?

You don't see this shite in the NFL. It's not a football move. It's not something that is apart of football.

What is your point?

A high school kid being a dumbass doesn't justify this Alabama player being a dumbass.

What does that have to do with anything.

I think he's just making the point that if he had any class, he would apologize.

I don't think a Missouri fan cares what Reuben Foster is doing in a rinky dink high school game, brah. Why even bring that shite up?

Saban has class for making Fanning apologize.

Fanning has shown no class.

Same reason sackel brought up fairley earlier. They feel the need to talk about auburn. Everything is always a comparison to auburn

not many Bama posters defending him, It was disgracful. The discussion revolves around the apparent refusal of some mizzou posters to accept his unprecedented public apology.

they would have if he wasn't seen celebrating and laughing after the play and having the play as his Twitter background.

I agree. Most Bama (almost all) posters haven't defended this play. And that is good to see.

I (like most Mizzou posters) don't really believe Fanning wanted to apologize, but was made to by Saban. I truly believe Saban doesn't like this kind of thing, but Fanning was laughing coming off the field, he obviously felt no shame in what he did..

He should be suspended. No one cares about his forced apology, especially after he had the picture of the event on his twitter page.
