lol you can clearly see him throwing his whole body and arms down on top of Fanning after Fanning's helmet comes off, not once but twice

Wow, you really should get a websters dictionary and read up on the definition of a punch.

And what exactly is so wrong with enjoying the Odyssey? The text is a fundamental cornerstone of western literature, one that still holds relevance today. I mean, how else could I have understood the parallels in Ulysses the first few times I read it if I hadn't read the Odyssey?

And do you not think Fairley should have written apologies for any of his many displays of classlessness? I wouldn't hold him in such low regard if he had just apologized.

Just not sure what exactly is so funny about my posts is all. I'm proud of Fanning for apologizing. Wish we saw more of that from this generation.

ITT, kilo reveals he is a psychic and reads minds.

Suspension is debatable, but if it happens it happens. Denying your players' actions following the tackle is still pretty silly.

After the kid apologized??? lol

#1 in the BCS. My anger level is pretty non-existant.

while it's obvious he wasn't throwing haymakers on the guy, it's very plausible that he threw a few quick jabs that were disguised as "I'm getting up by pushing off of your face/upper body."

Even if you don't agree with that, you gotta admit something wasn't normal about the way the guy got up after he fell ontop of Fanning.

The apology is now officially up to LSU/Auburn standards. I wonder what their new angle to discredit it will be. Doesn't matter, they're showing their true colors at this point. And Saban and Fanning have already shown theirs, pure class.

It appears the pun about the author of the odyssey flew right over the top of your head.

Written? no, maybe admiting to the mistake at least and moving on

classlessness

Wow

Like I alluded to in my first question, it was more than likely not his idea and he was forced to write said apology, which makes it kind of a mute point. even moreso based upon his twitter pic, still being front and center.

So you are praising him for something that is more than likely not even his own idea.

There it is. You have no idea if he anyone told him to write the apology. You're desperately grasping for straws at this point, and frankly it's pathetic. Sad, really.

plausable? yes

However is appears he is pushing him down by his chest, each time he tries to get up. either way, neither is anywhere near "punching"
