You weren't even our worst non-P5 loss that season. We lost to Southern Miss 21-0.

But, you should probably hang some sort of banner.

Last year was probably as close as it’s gotten

2014: TCU>FSU
2015: A couple of teams were better than Michigan State
2016: Washington probably wasn’t better than Penn State or USC

No one is saying y'all don't have talent, or shouldn't be proud of going 25-0. But y'all want more than just commendation for having talent or being good, you want inclusion at the big boy's table for not playing a big boy's schedule.

Let's look at some SOS rankings.

2017 CFP SOS
Bama - 10
UGA - 6
Clemson - 5
OU - 3

2018 CFP SOS
ND - 26
OU - 16
Clemson - 14
Bama - 2

Which of these team's places should UCF have taken in 2017? In 2018? For reference, UCF's SOS in 2017 was 66, and this year it was 71.

I'm not taking away from what UCF has done, but you simply cannot think you have a spot in the playoff, or that other teams will take you seriously, with a schedule that awful. Congrats on winning some games, but until you're playing better talent week in and week out, you simply don't have a right to be in the discussion.

Would Notre Dame or Clemson be undefeated with Tennessee's schedule?

Probably not. We play Bama and UGA every year and our schedule wound up being especially brutal this season but I know that despite our team being up and down and flat out terrible at times we'd be bowling with UCF's schedule. I don't know that we'd have made a bowl with ND's or Clemson's. That's the difference.

I think there should be 128 teams and start the playoffs at the beginning of the season. The last four in, play for it all. Oh wait. We already do that.
All kidding aside , I don’t think teams should be ranked at all until after the 6th game. The way it is now, teams are being rewarded for the prior year.
A team should not be ranked based on last year.
Otherwise we have the same 6 or 7 at the top. No matter how bad they might suck. Or how crappy the teams they play.

What is the "big boy's table?" Do Oregon State, Rutgers, Arkansas, Kansas, and Louisville get a seat at this table?

I'm trying to find where this is a P5 playoff. Can you help me find that?

In the case of someone like UCF, you really don't have any room to complain. If you want to be taken more seriously play a schedule where the hardest team isn't memphis.

What if the P5 won’t let them in and/or won’t schedule OOC games with them? What then?

In this sense, the P5 is blocking teams like UCF from making the schedule improvements you mention and, at the same time, mock them for their scheduling.

So your opinion of Tennessee making a bowl versus a team's schedule is how we should determine who has the opportunity at a *championship. I'll alert the committee that their job just got much easier.

Also if Notre Dame or Clemson did run the table with Tennessee’s schedule they’d have another game with Alabama for the SECCG

So no. Neither beat Bama twice, win in Athens, vs. West Virginia, and Florida

It kind of does when someone makes the claim that Arkansas would go undefeated if they were UCF.

If you are referring to my comment, I suspect you go back and read it again because it's not what I said. They don't offer reading comprehension classes at OSU?

I did say that would be bowl eligible against UCF's schedule, but I don't see that as a stretch.

Yep. Theoretically, we're the only team that has to play BAMA twice if we want to win the SEC. I don't know whether or not to laugh or cry about that.

The BCS with the SOS component was fair.

It’s why we were privileged see see many great matchups on a weekly basis.

Even opening games of the season.

The BCS made college football the greatest sport on the planet.

Some “fans” will never be satisfied until college football is ruined.

You're being purposefully dense and tiring. You know exactly why SOS is important and why it's rightfully preventing UCF from getting to the playoff.

I'm not re-hashing what has been explained to you multiple times already.
