I have great respect for Coach Richt and I wish him nothing but the best at Miami. Having said, that I think the change was in the best interests of both Mark and Georgia. CMR was burned out at UGA and left us with a bad situation on the OL which remains the main weakness of our team today. We played a RS Freshman and a true Freshman on the right side vs Auburn and it showed. Richt apparently inherited a team that was pretty darn solid in the trenches. But yea, we will see how well they hold up vs Clemson.

Hope he wins it all and then cruises Athens in a green and orange Caddy with a good stereo system blaring the Miami fight song.

If he wins a Nattie at Miami, the Dawg fans will be a miserable lot.
Every Georgia hater likes to parrot this line. It's just untrue.
I haven't met a single UGA fan who isn't cheering for Miami / CMR. He's an excellent coach, and it'd be a shame if he never won a natty. I'd be really happy for him.

It's apparent that it was UGA holding Richt back and not the other way around.
