That was a good win, and definitely set the tone for the most recent expansion. I think the media pundits would have been insufferable had A&M lost that game. So thank you for that, Aggies.

Arkansas was in the SEC title game as recently as 2006. Lost to eventual national champion Florida. Nothing to yawn at there, either.

I was making fun of all the last time teams had a double digit loss, 14 point loss, 42 point loss threads.
Arkansas just happened to have a big loss. It was from 1918. I wouldn't worry about it all that much if I were them.
And I wouldn't say it backfired. I would say it worked out nicely.
