That "kid who tried to break up a fight" is a pos that had been thrown out of Shady's multiple times that night after he continued to start shite with an ex-girlfriend including pushing her and backing her into a corner and head-butting her.

the writer should be making demands that brpd pay for its massive failure and how they tried to portray jj as guilty. Brpd ran a circus and hasn't taken any heat for it since the incident.

no the kid actually started the fight, the kid stalked an ex, even broke into her home one night and then pushed a friend at the bar and then hit an LSU player. JJ just dealt out some justice new U style on him.
also a week or so later the kid got hit by a car

as I know it:
JJ was out with a white girl at a local bar with some teammates and some of her friends.
girl's ex bf (Lowery-a white guy) who had been stalking her for weeks prior was also there.
Lowery takes issue with her being there with JJ and throughout the night yells at her and tries to corner her and committed a battery on one of the girl's friends.
Outside, words were had and "n" bombs were dropped.
Fisticuffs resulted.
Jefferson charged with aggravated battery.
grand jury returns w/ misdemeanor simple battery.
thats it so far.

If someone wanted to make some real headline they would look into the way BRPD handled the whole thing. Taking every shoe JJ owns and a DNA sample over an arse whipping at a bar is just crazy. The other kids involved were/are heavily connected to people that currently and formerly work in the DA's office. I'm talking ties that go back generations.

I agree id like to see how much all that cost over a fricking bar fight. Imo that would be a better more helpful story for the media to dig into.
