What the hell are you talking about? I just called the guy a Marine because it was a way to identify him. Wasn't it widely reported he was a Marine? I never said he was in his dress blues or anything?

Was he a Marine?

His name is widely known as well.

Yeah dude, you just casually included it. Why did you call Jefferson by his name? You could have just called him a student or a student athlete? Why did you choose to leave that out?

OK. What was the Marine's name? I'll call him by his name, instead of "a Marine" if that will keep you guys from pissing all over yourselves.

Come on,arlo. You know good and well you made a little smart remark about the Marine not being able to take a kick in the head as if this guy was in his dress blues.

I only read page 1 of this thread, but I want to jump in.

I have never been accused of being in the Jefferson-club on the Tiger Rant. I tend to fall more on the other side of the qb issue (on certain parts). However, I have always felt that Jefferson and Josh Johns were wrongly prosecuted for this incident. Without getting into all of that, I want to make this point. Jefferson is still facing a misdemeanor charge from that fight. I don't think any lawyer in the country would advise his client to apologize before the court case has taken place.

Hey, this guy is an Army veteran. Why did we treat this Army vet so poorly?

Meh there are bar fights every night in college towns. 99% never amount to any kind of court action.

Fine. I'll refer to him as Lowery.

JJ is a victim here because Lowery has a low threshold for kicks to the head.

JJ likely didnt kick him. But only a select few know for a fact if that happened. JJ is a victim because he is being prosecuted because of his fame. If Jefferson Jordan got in a fight that night in shady's nothing comes of it.

I mean we're talking about a bar fight.
