Are you just fishing for compliments on LSU? I think most people would agree LSU is better and deeper at almost all positions. Hopefully that translates into a win, we'll see.

I want someone from Arkansas to give me a good reason that they think they will win. Is that too much to ask?

I think it's fairly obvious. They think they will throw the ball all over and possibly cause turnovers on defense. They give up tons of yards and points, so turnovers is the best way to win. They need to be able to pass on us nonstop or else it'll be a long day. They need to protect the qb from this nasty defensive line as well.

That's not what you asked in the OP, you wanted to know if we'd bet straight up on Arkansas. If you want to know more add it to the OP, otherwise deal with a lot of vague answers.

Let's hear them make these points.

You are correct. I changed course somewhere in there.

I could be posing as an LSU fan but really an arkansas fan....why does it matter what team I root for?

Or I could be an LSU fan posing as an Arkansas fan, but really a Washington State fan fooling all of you.

I hear a lot of confidence coming from Ark but no substance.

Not saying LSU will lose, but do you really not see any way LSU can lose this game? Really? It's Arkansas-LSU. It's a tough game. WVU was able to throw on us, so as much as you would like to believe our defense is inpenetrable it's not. Add to that the fact that Jefferson is starting, who is wildy unproven passing this year and I expect it to be close.

The game plan was clear. Keep the play in front of you and win the turnover battle

Everything aside, I think it comes down to whether or not Arkansas can protect Wilson. If he has time to throw, it'll make it much more difficult on the DBs. Good thing is, the running game for Arkansas hasn't been top notch so LSU won't have to stack the box 90% of the game like Alabama. Other than that, I think LSU moves pretty easily on the Arkansas defense.

Was this an attempt to flame Arkansas? If so it was pretty miserably bad. What's the point of this thread?

And what makes you think the game plan won't be similiar to WVU week?

This would have me concerned if I'm an LSU fan, but LSU's D is staunch. With our young O-line I'm concerned that we'll have no time to get a pass off.

That's what worries me the most. Our pass rush has been inconsistent this year IMO. Sometimes they are lights out, sometimes subpar. If the pass rush is subpar against Arky it will be a long game.
