1995 NEB is GOAT and it's not even close
While I think '95 Nebraska has a strong argument (they'd probably be my pick), the '71 Nebraska team does as well. They're the only team in history to have beaten the #2, #3, and #4 teams in the final poll of the season.

Where did 2011 LSU fall at? Would they have made the top 10 if they won the BCS game?
Edit: Little shocked they don't appear on the list at all.

That 95 Nebraska team was the best ive ever seen. They were beast.
The 2018 Clemson team is ranked way to high. As bad as South Carolina was last year qb Bentley threw for over 500 yards vs Clemson
. Maybe they are top 50 all time but not even close as a top 10

I can guarantee you there haven't been anywhere close to 65 teams who would have been beaten the 2011 LSU team.
Well, the 1980 UGA squad at 33 was an utter crock too. But I was just providing a list of the SEC teams in the article, not making a judgement on how they were graded.

'95 Nebraska is #1 hands down.
'01 Miami easily the most talented, but had a few games where they let opponents keep score close.
Definitely disagree with '04 USC being Top 5 because '05 Texas beat basically that same team.
Not old enough to comment on pre-1990's, but ain't no way '95 Nebraska is anything but #1.

The worse team from the 2000's on that list would gutter stomp any of those 60, 70 and 80's teams.
