Anthony Grant needs to make some noise this year. I mean shite, by Sabans fourth year he already had a national title.....

I know you're being sarcastic (at least I read it that way), but sadly a lot of our "fans" who don't follow anything but football think all of our coaches should have instant success just because Saban did

Unsurprised. Hoping that my most exciting basketball season won't have been freshman year though

It's HIGHLY DOUBTFUL that we EVER smell the upper half of the SEC in basketball ever again.

Mizzou got tons of transfers including the most overrated player in the nation in Oriakhi. That is why they're so high.

These ESPN analysts follow the game more closely than I do, but I just can't imagine them really finishing number 1 in the SEC.

Also in Oriakhi's defense, Jarnell will make damn near ever post player in the NCAA his B.

Post defense is what Oriakhi does best

You can be middle of the pack in the SEC on coaching alone if you have the right coach. There are hardly any fundamentals or discipline on half of the teams.

He and Drummond were abused by Stokes and Maymon last year.

I wish I was as optimistic as you.

Being 14th and last in the SEC on paper just pisses me off. We haven't ever been picked to be that bad since I've been old enough to follow college basketball.

Some Vol fans were saying the exact same thing this time a year ago, Bundy.

Mizzou very well might be the second best team, but Kentucky will be the best. Oriakhi is a clown. Mizzou got good transfers, but lost what made them great last year: Leadership/experience/chemistry. Might be more talented, but we'll see how it plays out.

The key is that the same guard is running the point.

UK upgraded at PG. Also, Nerlens Noel is supposed to be a better defender than Anthony Davis. Not that I believe it, but thats what all scouting reports say.

UK losing Miller and Lamb is big imo. Those two hit tons of big shots last year.

If we hadn't waited too late to fire Rick, we wouldn't be in this situation.

Auburn is gonna make some noise this year. N.I.T. or NCAA berth.... It's been so long since we made it to the big dance.

If Moussa and Carl have improved even a little bit, the SEC is screwed
