Don't cry to me because your team is too poor to buy good players. We spent most of our NIL on keeping the players already on our roster. The rest went to quality transfers. Coach took his unworthy team and did what the great Kirby Smart could not do and win the national title.

Are you implying Kirby isn’t a great coach bc he didn’t win a championship last year? Lmao saban didn’t win every year dipshit. Kirby has won twice as many as Day.

And Not to take anything away from Day, Ohio state deserved the ship last year. But - the entirety of that guy’s existence would be the polar opposite of what it is currently if the playoff wasn’t expanded last year. If the playoff was kept at 4 for one more year longer there’d be a majority of your fanbase wanting him fired after choking to Michigan again last season.

I would not trade Josh Heupel for most of the coaches on that list.

Sounds like you're quite fond of 1998.

But every time the discussion about "greatest college teams" or recent Bama NC's come up, you and a handful of other corndogs rush to the scene trying to minimize and diminish the legitimacy of that team and its accomplishments because of COVID.

What does this have to do with a singular matchup of 2020 Bama vs 2020 Notre Dame?

Was 2020 Bama not significantly better than 2020 Notre Dame?

We've been arguing that Kelly had to face a much more difficult opponent in his season than Freeman had to in his season. No one is arguing what would happen in a hypothetical matchup between 2020 Bama and 2024 Penn State.

Nothing triggers a Tennessee hillbilly more than 1998.
