Have you any idea about what we have or lost?
Our best shot blocker transferred. A veteran on the blocks in SEC play. Our best outside shooter transferred. A veteran in SEC play.
Our best big gone for the season early in the year. Now the team is down to 9 scholarship players. Mid season, one of our big contributors Waithe goes down with calf injury. Down to 8 scholly players.
We've beaten Michigan, State, Vandy at home this year. Anderson some how has this team in the hunt for an NCAA bid with a limited squad, 4 freshman, 3 sophomores, 1 junior, 1 walk on, 1 football player, and Sanchise, who is out now.
Hell of a coaching job by MA in his first year
wow. I knew yall had some injuries but didnt know the extent. MA has done a hell of a job.

And please tell me which one of Bama's road wins was a marquee win? I'll wait... I will admit you have less bad losses, but you also have less quality wins than Arkansas. Our wins over Vandy, State and Mich trump the holy hell out of anything you've done thus far. And you cannot use head to head until both games are played. SoS means shite to me when you don't beat any of them. If that were the case then all ACC teams should be automatics to the tourney.
I am neither arguing with you nor am I predicting the tournament bracket or future record of either team. I was simply pointing out the various ratings of different services along with fact based observations of teams' performances to date.
Bama has neutral court wins over Wich ST (16) Purdue (62) and Maryland (89). Bama has road wins over Georgia (98), Auburn (132) and Ga Tech (145).
Arkansas has zero (0) neutral court wins or road wins. This is what is holding your team back and keeping them from tournament consideration. The NCAA is not held at Bud Walton, and until you can demonstrate that you can win on the road or at a neutral site you won't be invited. I disagree that Bama has less quality wins. At least some of ours are at neutral sites and we have won an away game.
P.S. How did you lose a home game to Houston (244)?

Houston wasn't a home game. We are 17-0 at Bud Walton.
We lost to Houston the same day it was announced we lost our best player for the year.
Arkansas is 3-3 against RPI top 40 teams. What's Bamas record?

ARKY still has road games against TN, Auburn and MSU. You will need to win one of those. The NIT has early round games at home. If you don't win one or more road games or neutral site games, you could be a lock for the NIT and even advance to the Garden. But last time I checked the SEC Tourny and NCAA Tourny are neutral site games.
Your 7 wins against teams with RPI ratings over 200 probably won't help you get a bid either.

Its no secret we need to win a road game or two, but the fact remains our record against good competition is NCAA tourney worthy.
We still have Bama, Ole Miss, Florida at home. We get one win, maybe two on the road and we are in the dance. That would also likely get us a first round bye in the SECt.

Arky is 4-6 against RPI top 100 teams.
Bama is 8-7.
Bama has 2 wins over teams with an RPI over 200. Arky has 7 wins over such teams.
Similar numbers kept Bama out of the tournament last year.

You finally agreed with me. Arky keeps winning at home, and can win one or two on the road or in the SEC tourney and you get in. Without a road win or an SEC tourney win, you are NIT bound, even if you stomp everyone at home. Your road record and lack of strength in your schedule is why everyone is rates you so lowly.

Where did you play Houston? Cbsrpi lists it as a home.

Y'all put way too much hype in to the RPI rankings.

Where do u get everyone rates us low? We are top 65 RPI right now. Yahoo says we r an 11 seed in the tourney.
Alabama just lost 3 key players. Selection comittee puts more stock on something like that than 0 or 1 road win in a season.
IMO Arkansas will make the tourney as will Ole Miss, but Alabama will be hosting NIT games.

Hopefully Sanchez will sit for awhile, and let B. Mitch get more playing time like yesterday. He is a better post player than Sanchise.

Brandon did look good yesterday. Sanchise did too. Best Sanchise has looked all year. He waved that towel with authority.

We have 4 players suspended at present, but three are not likely to be suspended for long. We have 6 wins on the road or at neutral sites, Arky zero. Lunardi had Bama at a 7 seed before Sat. If our three guys get back soon, and Mitchell makes it back eventually, we will be in the Tourney. Arky still has work to do.
If you look at enough places, I am sure someone has everyone in the Tourny. Palm and Lunardi are a little more reputable than yahoo. Neither presently has Arky in the field and both have Ole Miss ahead of Arky.
Call me when you win an away game and we will discuss your chances then. Until then, Arky can be crowned as Bud Walton Champs.
