You're a fool if you don't think Arkansas historically is a top 10-12 program.

Look, I am not interested in debating you about Arkansas basketball history.

Since 2000, Arkansas basketball < Alabama basketball.

In 2011-2012, Alabama basketball is at least = Arkansas basketball. In fact, Alabama leads Arkansas in RPI, KenPom, Sagarin, and every other creditable metric.

So just slow your roll, there is plenty of room in the tournament for both teams. But if you don't beat somebody somewhere other than at Bud Walton, you won't be included. Regardless of your lifetime achievement award.

They were a force under Nolan Richardson. Back in the day. Today, not so much. Maybe Mike Anderson can get them back to the glory years. I am sure a very energetic fan base is bubbling up with enthusiam, as they are starved for a winner after Heath and Pelphrey. Anderson might have left Missouri a year early though.

Historically, Arkansas was holding it's own way before Nolan was there.

Maybe so, but Nolan took your program to heights it had not previously seen and hasn't come close to since.

But the same still holds true. At 9-7, we will be pretty much assured a spot and 8-8 will make us very nervous on selection Sunday depending on what we do in the conference tourney.

Bryant who do y'all have as top 50 RPI wins? If we beat Vandy and y'all and finish at 9-7 I think we get in after beating Aub/ UGA/ or USC in the tourney? How realistic do y'all think halls chances are. Ours are pretty slim to be honest.

Our top 50 wins are Wichita and y'all at the moment. With our RPI being 32, I think 8-8 puts us about about a 65% chance of making it and 9-7 puts us at around 93%

Wichita State is the only team they have beaten inside the top 50 of the RPI rankings.

We have no chance for anything though unless we get Green back.

Truth. We had 3 games without Holloway and we went 0- for. I know the feeling.

BTW TCU beat UNLV. We beat them earlier so that helps our RPI.

Thanks for the bump. Hopefully the Hogs are a little more realistic in their expectations after the beatdown at Bud Walton.

The Hogs aren't dancing this year. Unless they win the SEC Tourney. BAMA, LSU, and MSSU all have better shots now all being tied for forth.

OM probably has to run the table to get in, but they are also ahead of ARKY.
