Not true. We have a lot of depth at RB. When is the last time AU didn't have a very good RB?

The offense will be a lot simpler this year. Power run and throw every now and then.
That doesn't necessarily make it better. If anything, you will be even less likely to mask your weaknesses when you are running power sets without a proven offensive line, running back, or quarterback. I think you have to win with defense.

How does this make a proven running back appear? Dyer was the guy. I don't know who is next in line and maybe he's good, but it's nobody that has done anything of note. Just because you've had good running backs in the past doesn't mean one will magically appear this season.

I prefered the way you refered to everyone in your first post

Auburn ends up with a losing season.

Auburn goes 5-7 and Chizik is on the hot seat.

More simple than a bubbles screen/wrap-around delay draw/Jet sweep?

anything beats running a bubble screen every passing down.

Well in the present, i think we'll be fine on RB's this year.

I'd have killed for a bubble screen first down in January.

Provide me with some info on the running back roster.

Why, you've proven you have the internet.

Thought you were in a better and quicker position to provide a quick rundown than I was to go fish for answers on google about something I'm only mildly interested in. You certainly don't have to give me a quick synopsis if it's too tough.

would you prefer if i said it as "lack of want"
i'd rather just make smartass comments to things that right now can't be proven. Unless you know how the 2012 auburn running backs are going to do. I personally think we'll be fine.

Quite honestly I'm not going to try to coerce you into providing me with any. I thought it was something to talk about because I don't know much about the running back roster because it's a lot of unproven guys. In the time we've spent this little back and forth, we could have finished the discussion.

ETA - Most likely nix JR from that list.

McCalebb: You've seen him. Fast change of pace type back. Won't be "the guy".
Mason: He's played some and looked pretty good. Kinda small, but a hard runner.
Blakely: From what a former player told me, he's the most talented and can change direction very quickly. He's not super fast, but he needs to get his head into football.
Grant: He's another RB that is mostly practicing with special teams. Not sure what he can do.
Robinson: Will most likely redshirt from what we're hearing with the stuff going on in Memphis. Status is still up in the air, but he's a talented bigger back.

Analysts always say 6-6. It's the easy way out.
