I get what he saying. but it is the severity which makes it no way comparable.

That is why you're a moron. They are both offensive. Raping a child is a more severe crime than breaking someone's jaw with a baseball bat, but they are both crimes none the less.

Damage wise, pissing on a grave is no more damaging than trampling on the grass. It is the intent, and the extent to which the offended party finds it offensive. The building is a memorial, and part of respecting that maintaining that memorial is keeping it in pristine condition, something that students and others can enjoy and pay respect by not trampling on the grass. Observing such a simple rule, and protecting it, falls under that.

Just because you don't want it to be offensive, and disagree with how offensive it is, that is irrelevant. It is at the discretion of those that have given their lives, and the ones they left behind who should choose how they should be remembered, not you. I get that you are a prick, but there are plenty of sidewalks, use those, or show the world how much of a prick you are, and walk on the grass. Grab a blanket, take a picnic basket, and help yourself, enjoy the grass all you want. It would really prove your point how you aren't being disrespectful.

None, if I recall correctly. Most of the time it's a courteous reminder and the offender complies. Pretty simple.

The one thing you are not taking into account, we "SEC schools fans" are belligerent, drunks, antagonists and entitled.

Or you could just tailgate on the other hundreds of acres of grass Football fans tailgate on, but if you must tailgate there, go ahead and be an internet hardass.

Telling my mother "no" when she tells me to do something is not the same as telling her "to go frick herself." Severity of actions make them incomparable.

Well we can break it down even further. Walking on the grass is the same as looking ast it. After all, they're both "actions".

Now you're dumb enough to think that because i said walking on grass isnt the same as pissing on a grave that im going to run all over it. Good god you are one sensitive little bitch.

btw, the bolded part? I never said it wasnt "disrespectful" just that the actions are in no way comparable. You would know that if you werent blinded by tears of rage and bitchiness

So walking on the MSC grass is disrespectful to fallen military soldiers?

What about pissing on a grave?

Compare and contrast with a venn diagram, please.

I'm just pointing out the absurdity of his argument. I am never going to give two shits if he walks on the grass or not. He tried to make the claim that walking on the MSC grass is about as disrespectful as looking at the grass. Which is stupid.

But, whateva, you're right. It has gone on too long.

What did you guys forget to build a statue and just say frick it we'll dedicate the grass?

1. The entire building complex, to include the grass, is a memorial.

2. The "statues" are busts of the 8 CMOH recipients along with the actual medals inside the building itself.

I think there are only seven. And the medals are replicas (the actual ones that A&M has are in the Corps of Cadets building IIRC).

Dude, uintil five minutes ago you couldnt even figure out what i was arguing, because your reading skills are so lacking, i suppose.

I never said i would. it was your inferiority complex kicking in and assuming that because i think pissing on a grave is so much worse than walking on grass, that i was looking for the first opportunity to run all over just to piss you off. pathetic.

You were arguing that walking on the MSC grass was never(in all caps) comparable to pissing on a military grave.

I that they are both disrespectful to fallen soldiers, that they are comparable in that fact.

You disagreed. You then used a straw man tactic to say that they weren't not comparable.

Did I miss something?

No. I don't think you were trying to piss me off, I think you were trying to diminish what the MSC stands for. By making the claim that any Aggie that feels disrespected is an a moron for finding any similarity between the two, you are diminishing what the MSC represents to those that care for it, and the personal value and honor they have invested in it. I think that is where you crossed the line, telling someone what reverence they should or shouldn't have for something. But whatever, it is the Internet, I don't care, I got shite to do.
