ESPN and the rest of the media must be really pissed right now.

First, Bama is beating the shite out of Auburn 24-7 at the half. Yes, Abbie fans, I was loving it too. Major props to your coach and players for playing 60 minutes of football. Auburn deserves the win, purely by displaying what a true champion is made of, never quitting when the chips are down. Bama, on the other hand, quit when they had all the chips. ESPN and the rest of the media get bitch slapped by Auburn.
Secondly, ESPN's golden child Boise St., in the same fashion as Bama, blows a 24-7 halftime lead.
It was a truely sad day for the media, that was led by all the hacks at ESPN.

ESPN has been dead to me since '04.

As pissed as I was that Bama blew the game yesterday, the Boise St. loss was at least some measure of redemption for an otherwise shitty day.

agreed. Vern and Gary were licking their chops the 1st half. I'm so proud of the team for digging deep and giving a giant
to the media. Sis Boom Bah!

Did you complain about ESPN media this much when they were pimping LSU in 07, 06, 03? Or when Corso picked LSU preseason title contender in 02? Or 05 when LSU got major love prior to Georgia game because of Katrina and what not.

ESPN's college football coverage is terrible and this opinion has nothing to do with the supposed hatred they have for LSU.(don't buy it for a second.)College football is the only sport where their opinions can make a difference and they make sure that their opinions get noticed because of it.College football is a sport where public perception plays a big role in the rankings.Every other sport has a system where you're either in the playoffs, tourney etc. and there is no questioning it.They have continuously made excuses and trumped up Bama all year(deserved to a point since they are the reigning NC)and talked about them as though they are unbeatable or it's a huge suprise when they lose. The bigger issue is the way they've trumped up Boise all year.Continuously talking about them and explaining why they should get a shot. For the past 2 weeks all i've heard is that Boise will pass TCU because they will win against 2 solid teams(Fresno/Nevada)and most importantly that they'd blow them out. Then last night mighty Boise gets beat by Nevada and all of a sudden Nevada is a really good team(they may be but according to ESPN's experts they were just a pebble on the road in Boise's quest),"not a little sister of the poor" and Boise just got beat by a good team because they made mistakes. Now Boise has proven they belong by losing. How does that work?LSU has lost 1 game to maybe the best tram in the country and yet we don't belong. No matter how ugly it's been at times this year and no matter how many times we've had to escape, the fact is we did. When we were put on the spot to either make a play and win or screw up and lose,we made the play.We certainly didn't miss 2 under 30 yd field goals and lose.If they were great and belonged in the conversation with SEC teams then they would have made those kicks.Auburn has made plays when their backs were aginst the wall all year. That's a championship caliber team.Boise finally gets tested and couldn't come through.Very similar to that UNLV bb team in 1991.They were never tested and when they finally were they choked.Champions win those games, not choke.ESPN is a joke when it comes to college football analysts. It's sad when Reese,Lou(except when it comes to ND or anywhere he's caoched) and Mark May are the most unbiased guys on the tv.Fowler is good himself but he never really puts himself out there to be criticized.

Great day if you're a football fan, in general.
Between the hours of 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. were 3.5 hours of pure, undulated football joy and something similar could be said for the hours between 9:30 and 1 a.m., especially that midnight hour.
Don't think I've ever seen such huge momentum swings in games with MNC implicaions.
As I'm typing a 98-yard TD run for tOSU. Stick a fork in RichRod.
