Finally....one of you admits to it.

I think everybody realizes it.

You all damn well know how good we are going to be when Nico lives up to his hype.

The question is IF he lives up to his hype. he might, but it is not a 100% given. Nobody can say he will, or won't in a definitive way. But if he does live up to it, the Vols will be scary.

Again...even if he develops into a great QB it is the speed he develops that will determine how you do this year. If he comes out locked and ready, with a full playbook, then UT will be very, very good. If he needs more time learning the playbook then it could take a season or two.

I honestly don't know how difficult Tennessee's playbook is. I wouldn't put too much stock in his first several games, though...one way or the other.

Yes, i expect him to start out modestly the first few games, lean on the running game and then Nico will be turned fully loose and forced really step up to win the Oklahoma game on the road imo.

We are plenty good enough to win our first few games including NC State on the road by playing a conservative offense leaning on the running game but i don't know because people from our camp are saying that this year's offense will move along at a faster pace than it ever has which suggests they are extremely confident in where Nico is at mentally right now.

Especially the run to pass plays we will go very fast immediately to the play right after gashing runs to create as many defensive busts as possible in the passing game.

You guys think my predictions are whimsical and over the top, but really i might be underselling this Vols team truth be known. I called for 11 wins in 2022 and 10 wins in 2023 btw. Absolutely no one except me saw 2022 and Hendon freakin Hooker coming.

Heupel 's offense is predicated around the run first so ofcourse emphasizing quick passing strikes after a pounding running play is ideal. Gas out the D as much as possible and catch them confused. That's just strategy gump. You saw how our offense looked last year when it's slow led by a non cerebral QB. No bueno. Give me TennesseeSpeed every day all day.

Nico will have us moving very FAST again and we will test the self discipline, speed and endurance of all of your defenses.

We are going to break your defense inside of Neyland this year and i suspect you are scared shitless wondering how effective or not Nico will be. Spoiler alert... he's VERY VERY good according to every source from camp.

I think they're a team that could be one of these six or eight teams that we talk about potentially contending.
