I agree.. and all this could hurt the entire conference. Started with Auburn and CAMgate.. Now spreading to LSU. Next could spread to Tennessee and the Kiffin days.. then to more on MSU involving camgate.. the Ole Miss and their fishy recruiting class.. No telling what else Journalists will dig up.. every time a big story breaks, usually involving auburn, something new with another school comes to light. Vandy may end up being the only one that is clean, and the Flagship, of course

Its funny you worded this this way because on wjox yesterday they interviewed that chick from HBO that did the interviews with the players and she said that it was supposed to be a piece on the entire SEC but every time they started looking into something at one school, it would always lead them to Auburn.

Everytime they talk about the SEC they call it the best conference in football, get your head out of your ace.

ESPN does, CBS does, who else does? those 2 networks have multimillion dollar tv deals with the SEC. Of course they are gonna say that. The rest of the country hates us. Believe that shite or bury your head in the sand with all the barners.

Some Aubbies are weak minded. Their thought is that if they cant dig anything up on the current saban team and a past LSU saban team is found to be dirty....than bama will have the same current rep that auburn has....cheaters.
This is weak.
Meanwhile every young so called reporter is targeting a much larger prize. While the schools in the SEC fight and in flame each other from within these reporters sit back and target our conference as a whole.

I agree with your apparent main premise that the controversy in general is not good for the SEC as a whole. I do not delight in the Cam Newton controversy but it is what it is. Cam's father solicited his son's services and Cam should have been declared ineligible by the NCAA. But controversy has not been confined to the SEC.
Southern Cal was slammed hard. Ohio State should be as well. The NCAA made a ridiculous interpolation of the rules in Cam's case and did the same regarding the OSU players; in both cases the players should have been suspended immediately.
My point is that the NCAA rules are being violated on a lot of fronts so I don't see the situation as unique to the SEC.

For me its really all about the LSU fans who chastised the Auburn faithful over the Cam situation and labeled us as cheaters. Now their precious PP7 is a poor mans version of Cam. Glass houses and such...
Says the MIAMI FAN
Again WHAT did LSU do. It waS a fan, not connected with LSU, if it was true, as far as we know it was an AU fan posing as an LSU fan. Sound silly, not any worse than a university is expected to keep up with the thousnds of fans of thier school. This is ridiculous

I think everybody agrees that their program in the sec has some dealings under the table. It was Auburn arrogance an "all in" mentality that seemed they gave the finger to the nation and said we cheat but prove it. Now you got so many trying do just that, they are digging up everybody's trash. So of course to expect much more to be dug up. We all go after the same top players.

All normal SEC board chatter right? Perhaps. However make no mistake their are enemies at our gates. The Gates of the SEC & The SEC's dominance of Football. Ive said from the beginning of Camgate for everyone to chill. If AU or Cam did anything wrong it will eventually come out. But all the chatter caught the attention and ratings of so called journalist. Now allegations have spread to LSU. Soon it will be others ...if its not already.
Make no mistake people. This is an all out assault on the SEC. We live in an SEC vacuum. The rest of the country & its so called sport journalist are sick of the SEC's dominance. Labeling all of our schools cheaters would be an easy way for them to cope with ineptness. Sure reporters may sprinkle some info on some schools outside the SEC to make it look like non biased reporting but this BS is about the SEC. And its going to get worse before it gets better.
Some of you will laugh at this thread...to that i say get the shite out of your eyes and ears and pay attention.
What makes our conference so dominant in Championship games is the brutal inter SEC schedule. But rather than recognizing our conference as The Best......labeling all of us cheaters would be easier for everyone outside the SEC to swallow.
I agree with this statement. However, you also have to note that a lot of top programs are going to get drug through the mud. It just so happens that the SEC has a lot of top programs. SO, our name will get mentioned a lot.
