No 600 million comes from the PUF which comes from The University of Texas Land.

Are you really going to bring up the PUF fund. Texas get 2/3 because they have more lower-tier schools in their system. A&M gets 1/3. The PUF is a bigger boost for Texas than it is for A&M

The land belongs to the State of Texas and is parked inside the UT system for now. The legislature could divide it, take it back, re-apportion it, or sell it if they wanted.
