Sounds like Eli has another guy in front of him with Bama now adding Buchner. Currently 5th on depth chart.

LSU's QB room is in as good a shape as it has ever been. Holstein isn't needed. Hell, he was scared to compete with Howard who transferred to Ole Miss as soon as he realized he realized he was solidly behind Daniels and Nussmeier.

If he’s got what it takes, he should stand pat, watch the older guys leave and in a year or two be ready to compete for the starting job.
