"Can hire an elite staff"? He also hired Bo Pellini as his DC without ever interviewing him, this by his own admission. Pellini spent more time on the golf course than he did on the practice field. And did not last one calendar year as the DC. As for Burrow being "borrowed", he attended LSU for 2 years & completed his undergrad degree & then earned his Masters Degree. At LSU.

He doesn't have a choice. He's probably close to broke.
I think he's fool's gold though. He left the program in horrible shape, but more concerning is the absolute chaos that the defensive line has been under since 2020, and he's a defensive line coach.
