How is it an excuse? Orgeron inherited a really good DC and built a team with a damn good defense. Kelly hired his own DC who was a miserable failure this year and has not built a decent defense.

Unless of course you think all it takes to win a national championship is a great QB. Like an Eli Manning.

He didn't hire Aranda. He did however run him off and hired Pelini.
