We gutted the lower level on the west side and built it up about 8 ft to match the height of the new concourse around the endzone(2nd level seen in those pics). A much needed full renovation going on over there(west side of Davis Wade is the second-oldest grandstand structure in all of college football).
Going from 5 to 14 elevators @ DWS as well. So, that construction will be ongoing all the way around the stadium.
Yeah, we are supposedly behind schedule with construction, but not too badly. They started shortly after the season was over

That's just the all girl squad, AKA the ones too big to be lifted (well most of them)

That's my thought. DWS is right next to the building I work in and they haven't seem to make that much progress.
Though the weather for the past few months hasn't been the greatest.

That would be a middle of the road high school stadium in Texas.

Damn, 61K+ fans at a high school football game.

Exactly. Boosters' daughters that couldn't make the coed team nor pom squad for the most part.

Record rainfall in MS in April.
West side construction is slightly behind. Endzone construction is ahead of schedule for the most part.
Not even running multi shifts or night shifts yet, so you know they aren't that far behind...Besides, the "new" pictures listed are almost 2 weeks old, in which time we've seen good endzone progress.
ETA: How it looks right now. The base of the top level going in in corner..

We have had approximately 70 days of rain in that area so far this year. Doesn't exactly make for the best working conditions.

The cowbell reverberations will make that addition come crashing down due to shoddy workmanship.
Looks like it will be nice.

Who remembers the flag pole, with the flower bed around it, where the endzone seats are now?
:raiseshand:
Lots of PATs ended up in that flower bed.
That was before the origional Sony Jumbotron was installed...
Damn I am getting old
