Dandy Don doesn't work for Scout.com now does he.

Believe what you want, but I'll take the word of a nationally respected reporter who actually has to tell the truth and has a reputation to uphold over some random aubbies on a internet forum.

I wish we could just stop responding to their rumors. It's becoming pretty obvious that they are just that... rumors.

They all even have the same pattern, it's not even original. "A booster paid for Julio's fishing trip. Here is a proof - a picture him on a boat".
"A booster bought Dre a new car. There is a proof - a picture of his a car". Excuse me? What kind of proof is that?

True, but he still works for scout and knows a hell of a lot more about Dre Kirkpatrick than you do.

You're right neutrino, we are just adding fuel to the fire. Truth is, from what I hear it's the aubbies that had some shady dealings in Gadsden.

Honestly, I don't care if they bought the kid a car or if his parents paid for it. It doesn't bother me, it's a damn Charger. Honestly though, what do you expect Bama's blogger to post? Do you think he's going to seriously investigate and try to blow the story open if something illegal happened? FUUUUUUUUUUUCK NO

No, but I doubt he would have responded to it if he didn't know that the rumors weren't true.

Since he is a reporter, that is as good as me posting a link of an article a paid reporter wrote saying it isn't true.

When you Aubbies or Lsuwhosers get something written by a true reporter saying otherwise let me know, otherwise STFU.

Throughout his career as a student at Alabama, Bone has been an exceptional worker in covering recruiting. In addition to covering players recruited by Alabama, Auburn and the rest of the Southeastern Conference, he has been the recruiting expert for 'BAMA Magazine and BamaMag.com. In recent years he was publisher of his own Scout web site, Scout-South.com He also writes a weekly recruiting column for the Tuscaloosa News and is a frequent guest on radio and television sports shows.

I mean honestly...

Let's just agree that Bone's words mean nothing because he is biased. But also this whole thread and a rumor started by barners also means nothing for the very same reason.

Deal?

Like I said, I really don't care who bought the kid the car. I would hope the boosters would get him something more than a Charger.

in an interview with scout.com, Dre was asked what his favorite car was, and he said it was a dodge charger.

Here's another news flash for ya.

1. Dre's cousin plays for Bama (Jerrel Harris)

2. Bama has one of the best college football coaches in the league.

3. Auburn fired their coach at the end of the season and hired a coach that went 5-19.

4. Dre has a kid that lives less than an hour and a half from Tuscaloosa.

5. Bama went 12-0 and is on the rise.

6. Bama needs DBs and Dre will get a chance to start early.

I mean shite, he should be buying them a car not to go to Auburn.

Are barner's still doing this Gadsden stuff?

Do they really think a black family is somehow unable to afford a nice car for their kid's graduation?

Barners have always been stupid. Now it appears they are racist too.

Two things....

1. Did'nt Jerrel Harris's mom state publicly that of all the schools that recruited her son, the only ones that offered nothing out of line were Miss State and Alabama?
2. To my understanding, Alabama requires that all athelets disclose how their autos were purchased.

If I'm wrong, please correct me. Aubies first

Seriously, wtf? If it's his car, so what? A "like new" Dodge Charger can be had for ~17,000 or so..maybe less. That's a 300-350 dollar payment. If his dad is a Preacher and his mom has any sortof job, wtf is with the implications from you? Does seem a bit "racist"..I'd bet if you saw some white kid you didn't know driving one you wouldn't turn your head..

I wish you all get your heads out of your butts, boosters giving money and gifts to players go on all over the SEC. I know a few players personally that played for schools in the south. I also have a friend that drive buses and has driven for schools in the SEC and I have plenty stories of what goes on.

So stop calling out other schools and stop trying to prove your school is so above this, it happens everywhere.
