when did alabama start claiming 12 titles? anyone know? i mean did they claim each as they alleged accrued? or was it a history project?

i'm kinda busy. it was an honest question. I mean was there a time some were added retroactively. or did ala claim each one that is disputed in that video the same year it happened?

I have no idea. People complain that the 1925 or 1926 Championships were awarded by some organization or publication in 1930-something. Thats as far as I get into the "retroactive championship" debate...if its been awarded for over 70 years, I don't know what they want us to do about it.

fair enough. I mean i could see how someone would write a book on ala football history, do a spin job and claim X number of titles that hadn't been claimed before, and it would just become fact afterwards.
