I for one think the best front seven is a tossup between Georgia and bama.
They are going to be nasty against the run. Better then lsu, USCe, Florida and AU.

We're very solid. Regardless of last year's results, it's a new season and we're another year into our 3-4 with Grantham (it's only our 3rd year). It's very difficult for us to lead the league in rush defense because we play Tech every year so holding them to 150 yds rushing is actually a positive. As far as total defense goes, we're top 3.
We have a good secondary (underrated, imo) that will compliment our front 7 that may make us the top defense in the country based on our schedule.
*Notice I said based on our schedule, meaning I don't think we actually have the best defense in the nation but with our schedule we could end up at #1 in total defense by the numbers. Agree with UA, LSU, and possibly Texas (don't know much about them). Also, if FSU's front 7 shows the actual talent they have then they're also a contender.

Hell only LSU scored so much against a fully healthy Georgia defense.

Maybe so, but they still weren't on the same level as Bama or LSU's front seven. Until I see any major difference, I would still rather have either of those two over UGA's front seven.

Very hard to repeat in College Football. If Bama does it I'll be impressed. It's LSU's year, they need to keep the title run going in the SEC. But I'd love for the chips to roll our way this year and make it to Miami. Either way, I wanna see an SEC team bash USC. That's all I want.

I dont want USC in the title game. If they make it to the N.C. that means that we have to start considering them again as a national contender. I'm not sure why anyone from the south would want a team from california to be considered better then them. The SEC has won the last 6 national championships with two SEC teams representing in the 6th match. Why would anyone want that to change if your an sec fan.
If I'm a 4-5 star athlete and consider myself one of the best in the nation then shouldnt I want to play against the best in the nation? The SEC winning national championships helps the other schools in the sec get better talent. I think that was one of the draws for Arkansas, S. Carolina, Texas A&M, and Missouri when they came into the SEC.
