We made Vitello one of the highest paid college baseball coaches in history.
We built the stadium he wanted. Gave him money for quality staff. He got serious funding for NIL.
We can't just throw every other program under the bus to keep him happy.
Tennessee is ranked in all three major programs. Football, Baseball, and basketball. Here you are hollering, "Danny White is a fig. He sucks. A coach left."

Vitello left because of NIL. Not because of how much he was paid. He wanted more for recruiting and player retention. The women’s team is eating up money that could go into baseball. That’s the issue. I fricking love old Fulmer. I remember standing in the rain in 2008 absolutely beside myself that he was leaving. I just thought it was a funny nickname because when I was a little kid people would call him that and I thought it was a compliment. Women’s sports are a plague
