and I would argue that South Carolina should also be included

Bama needs to sit at home. Milroe and his crew don't deserve the playoffs.

The two teams in the SECCG are automatically in. Texas is in regardless of the result against A&M. Maybe one other SEC team qualifies but that depends on the next week's games. I doubt that four SEC teams qualify.
Big question. If A&M loses to Texas which three loss SEC team that didn't get to Atlanta might get in?
