If it ever goes to court, which it won't, imagine this line of questions from OM lawyer to Leo.

Lawyer: Sir, you stated there were tags on the merchandise. But it's obvious now the store doesn't use those tags. How do you explain your original testimony siiirrr?

Leo: Oh I thought they had tags. Guess I was mistaken.

Lawyer: ummm.... oh... welll ummmm. No further questions your honor.

You forgot to add:

Charlie Merkel: You said in the NCAA statement that you received several hundred dollars in gift cards from Rebel Rags. Are you aware that Rebel Rags does not market gift cards?

Leo (meekly): Kind sir, I must have been mistaken once again.

Merkel: You said you were serviced by a female salesclerk at Rebel Rags named "Emily." Are you aware that Rebel Rags has never had a female salesclerk named "Emily" at the store?

Leo (redfaced): Look idiot, I was told to say those things by Dan Muffin. Get off my back or I'll drag your arse to the hinterlands of Lincoln County.

You won't be taking anyone anywhere. The NCAA will not investigate anything about any other schools that comes from Ole Miss or this civil case. They are not interested in this case anymore.

That may be true but how many schools have a player snitch on another school then that player gets a defamation of character filed against them? So that player has to answer questions under other potential. Then add that he admitted to taking money from a school not makes OM in his interviews. This post was edited on 6/13 at 9:40 am

Dipshit at RebalPeriodRags could win his case completely and the NCAA CAN STILL KEEP THE LEO LEWIS shite AS PART OF THE PUNISHMENT.

LL is heavily involved in the amended NOA. Like 90% including the FTM she LOIC. If he is find to be a liar then we will get basically what we have self imposed plus maybe a few more scholarships. There is definitely a plausible senario where we walk away with 1 year ban and 18-20 over 3,

You were getting way more than your self imposed bullshite just for the first NOA alone.

this is correct. I believe there were 84 violations that occurred in total that were stated in the OG NOA

So much bullshite here.

One, you know nothing about who was interviewed or where they happen to play.

Two, and this is the most important thing here. Slive warned the Ole Miss Admin several years ago about the reports they were receiving about recruiting. It was simple. "You need to stop."

But, not only did the Ole Miss staff continue they pushed it up another few notches--balls to the walls. And now, the NCAA is going to do just that; nail the Black Bears balls to the walls.

No I didn't forget to add. I just figured you were smart enough to see that the answer could go to any question asked but I guess I overestimated you. So, he could answer any of them the same way. And still say but they still gave me free shite. Like they are known to do every year by every person in oxford including yourself and every OM poster on this board. It's like universal common knowledge that RR gives free shite to recruits. Waaaaay before Leo ever came along.
So yes he'd answer the same way, then RR has to prove they are damaged which they can't. Prove that and that Leo lied with a preponderance of evidence. Cuz a shadow of a doubt won't cut it in a civil case.
This is why it'll never see a court room. RR knows it. The lawyers know it. You're the only idiot that doesn't know it. Congratulations.

Coach Saban isn't concerned about any of this. His program is clean, so why would he worry?

Teams did take each other down in the SWC. So many that it killed the conference.

If Rebel Rags wins their suit. The depositions of Leo Lewis and company will be on public record. If the senerio happens when Hugh Freeze is terminated or given a show cause. He technically could bring a civil suit against the NCAA.

Technically he already could because technically you can bring a civil suit up against someone for any fricking reason you could imagine. Problem is, you can't win them just like Freeze wouldn't win that case.

The probability for Freeze to win a settlement would increase. If Rebel Rags wins its case, it would prove malfeasance on the NCAA’s part for conducting a sloppy investigation. I not arguing OM’s innocence, but the NCAA new rules on a coach’s culpability in lack of institutional control. A court of law is not the same as COI.

You say it is universal common knowledge that Rebel Rags gives free stuff to errybody?

Just cause you get a yellow sucker when your momma brings you to the store does not result in a NCAA violation.

Ole Miss was supposed to retain new counsel for litigation on this. Did they do it?

and everyone else (non OM related like family/friends/HS Coach) the NCAA interviewed about the free stuff denied it happened.

Doesn't matter. The NCAA can give a show cause on a coach because they don't like his haircut if they wanted to. They wouldn't do it because it would be bad for business, but they could because it's their institution and they retain full control over every aspect of it. Basically, they don't HAVE TO ALLOW you to play.
