When someone asks if you're a god you say "yes"!

I think he is displaying humility, respect, understanding, and care for another.

But, has he decided to go off script and rescue fallen coaches in his name?

It's most likely been Saban's plan to hire Sarkesian as OC since he brought him onto the 4 MONTHS AGO.

Obviously something happened between the end of the SECCG (when Saban said Kiffin would be there thru the playoffs) and when he asked him to leave Sunday.

Why does this bother you so much?

Is he a game coach or a consultant for the NC game?

Well considering he's been named OC.....I would think you would put two and two together and it would equal 4 which also equals he'll be the fricking OC.

there is a distinct possibility this game could be lost regardless of the OC.

I believe Bama will win and win big, the success of the BAMA program really has little to do with the assistant coaching staff. Yes if everyone of them just pulled up and left things would be different but losing a good assistant coach or coordinator is not big deal and here is why.

Last year BAMA lost its defensive coordinator K. Smart and the defense just kept on the same level and some may say improved.

The Saban staffs even at LSU lost assistant coaches yearly and also at Alabama. Saban's success has everything to do with his system or as he calls it the process.

The Process starts with recruiting the best players and this includes evaluation and determining which players are better and which ones are bust

Instilling discipline into every player

Developing each player through a weight program and conditioning

Coaching each player to perform and to be prepared to the best of his ability and making them believe in themselves. Saban demands that players focus and if they makes mistakes he chews them out and then pats them on the arse with his clip board later.

BAMA players buy into the process and view the Saban way as a road to be successful and losing Kiffin does nothing to change this and may actually make the players play harder

I don't think Saban is looking to rescue anybody. He is trying to squeeze the talents out of damaged coaches with character flaws. This situation is the result of his decision to bring Kiffin and his d-bag ways in 3 years ago. The saying goes, if you lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas. This is Saban's fleas. You have to ask if the last 3 years was worth this case of fleas. As of now, I say yes.

Yeah, right, like we're gonna question 4 national championships in 7 years and 5 SEC championships in 8 years. Bama could lose Monday but no rational Bama fan will be blaming Saban. If Kiffin was too distracted to come up with a decent game plan with 4 weeks to prepare, I don't think I'd want to see his game plan with just a week to prepare...

So, if he wins next Monday, are you going to return to this thread and confess your sins?

You can't argue with his results on the field but coaches hate working for him and I would say his coaching tree has not turned out successful which tells you how much he runs things.

That's why he wasn't successful in NFL, he would have to change his style and he won't.
