Mike Leach, perhaps? he applied for the job once.
I’d like to see that, but I’m afraid y’all missed your window on that one.
He’s become a much hotter commodity.
Guy is California born and bred; won’t surprise me to see him replace Helton at SoCal.
I think your best option is to ride it out with a Luke for another year or two—there are FAR worse interims—then see who’s available in ‘19 or ‘20.

Mike Leach won't come to Ole Miss. He will get a shot at better programs. Ole Miss is in a spot. Lane may be the best option.

Is anybody thinking about Petrino? I think catching a talented coach on the fall is about as good as Miss. can do at this point. And he knows how to use good QBs and receivers, right?

Either that, or if there’s no truly enforceable rule preventing it, friggin bring Freeze back. So he sleeps with strange women for money. Who flippin cares. This is football, not church.

He is really good guy and took job no one wanted. He should at least get two more years

I expected ole miss to be Arkansas bad by now but they’ve been pretty competitive outside a couple games.

Lulz, Ole Miss is such a garbage program. They’re the conference doormat for years to come.
