Guice will have a better career than Fournette.
I mean the guy has all the measurables and by all accounts he's a great person. He's even a great player but his stats weren't what I would consider elite.

lol he's already top-5 so.. yes? who in the SEC has topped his 2015 162.75 yards/game? let's go back 30 years and see how many RBs have averaged over 150 in the SEC
No takers?
Hmmmmmm

He may very well have been but simply not living up to the over-hype spewed by posters of his fanbase sealed his fate. So no

Top 5 by what metric? A really good 2015 doens't make him a top 10 career rusher in the SEC.

His was good enough that it easily does. Not sure that season has ever been topped. Top 3 all time in SEC history.

I realize this is somewhat a troll thread, but for any who want a serious answer to that, of course Leonard Fournette is a Top 10 back in the SEC.
In career rushing yards, LF is 12th, but only 6 yards from 10th. So I made a chart to compare him to the other 11 ahead of him.

Sorry for the formatting that is a rough deal on here.
Fournette has a similar number of games played compared to Emmitt/Walker and a similar amount of carries compared to Bo Jackson, so he can't be disqualified as a career top 10 back based on low totals of career games or carries.
Fournette ranks very high in yards per game (4th behind Walker, Emmitt, McFadden), yards per carry (2nd behind Bo Jackson), TDs per game (2nd behind Walker) and TDs per carry (2nd behind Bo Jackson).
You can troll about his bad Bama games if you want, but Walker, Bo, McFadden, and all the rest had a bad game or two in important games as well. From a career standpoint there is no logical argument against Fournette being a top 10 SEC back. Top 5 to be honest.

It's just too bad he didn't have the opportunity to play one more game.

LSU hadn't cancelled a game due to weather in about 100 years previously, but there were 2 while Fournette was playing. McNeese in 2015 and South Alabama (via Florida reschedule) in 2016.

If he had stayed his senior year, yes - easily.
But his career was marred by injury last year and only playing 2 or 3 quarters of games in his soph year. I would say a top 20 back, but not top 10.
