We played well against Georgia too, but a blocked punt and fumble led to 14 points for Georgia...oh, and we lost by 14.

Odom is a strange case to me. The run defense is likely the best its been at Mizzou since Pinkell left and the offense is still doing Mizzou things and now they run the ball too. He's done everything but fix the pass defense and find a way to keep the offense consistent against SEC competition.
Then again he did call a pass on like a 3rd and 2 when he should have been running out the clock against Kentucky.

To be honest I think Strong just does better in the South. I don't think he fit in well in Austin or had the recruiting ties to Texas to really make it work.
Didn't their AD get fired too? There was a lot going on at Texas.
