I think I must have read someone else's post. My bad.

But I still want to respond to a couple of things.
quote:I guess I feel like I can enter a discussion with the bullet points. $200 vs $4k? 19 years vs 20? I don't remember any other incorrect information and quite honestly don't think it's really that big of a deal.
There has been quite a bit of incorrect info.
quote:
The Bear is a cheater. Ok actually I have no clue if he is a cheater.
I never thought he was a cheater. You missed my point. My point was if all you need to convict, and declare guilt is a general consensus ...the general consensus around the SEC at least, is that Bear was a cheater. I don't know any more about that than I do about Auburn's pre-Eric Ramsey cheating and I don't care. All the Blue Tuna zombies keep pointing (in lacking evidence) that everyone thinks Cam and Auburn are guilty and the championship is tainted, therefore it is. I disagree...I think everyone that is really into college football that isn't an Auburn fan has a pretty good incentive to believe that Cam and Auburn are guilty and its too easy of a target not to. And the general consensus could be 100% but that still doesn't translate into evidence.
Oh, and NO I am not convinced that Auburn didn't pay Cam. I have said that if I had to guess, I would guess no and I am not going to lay out my reasons yet again. But I don't KNOW what happened and I know it is feasible that Cecil found the rogue booster with Auburn that he didn't find with MSU. I am more pissed off at the overwhelming idea of most on this board that they KNOW it happened. The don't know jack shite. They have an opinion...glad to hear that is all you are claiming to have. I think I was reading one of that Jay guy's posts.

Why do barners go to the Albert Means case to justify the current investigation of their program??? the Means case is dead..CamGate is ALIVE!!

Why even ask this question? Why do you think? Could it be that what was proven a short ten years ago, is what is being accused with Auburn? The hammer has fallen on the Means case and while Alabama fans may piss and moan about the consequences, few dispute that it occured.
quote:It is alive in your heart, and no one can take that away from you. It is eternally yours. For it to mean anything though to anyone that matters (to the extent that it can affect Auburn athletics), some evidence will have to show up. I hate it if it does and that is still possible, but it sure as hell hasn't happened yet.
CamGate is ALIVE!!
Those Bama fans that are saying "sucks for y'all,we know how it feels, hahaha, hope it's true", are honest and aren't hypocrites. I don't blame them...Auburn fans were living it up during the Means case. Those of you feigning virtue, pretending that Alabama hasn't been caught being dirty, calling Auburn a dirty program and claiming to know it is all true, are some combination of hypocrite, idiot, and delusional.
The truth of the Means case illustrates this...that's why it keeps coming up.

Honestly the only reason I posted to begin with is you posted:
"What is NOT feasible at all is that Auburn is a dirty program that has been buying players for years. I'm sorry...we can agree to disagree on the feasible but anyone who honestly thinks that Auburn has been paying players for years without being caught or even investigated for 20 years, is either an idiot or completely delusional."
I looked and thought... how is it delusional when they got busted within the last 20 years.
I do understand defending your team. I do think that some of the posters are overboard on the theories and it comes off as pathetic. I do think there are some things that the ATPB brought up that might be valid.
My whole problem with Auburn and why the case 20 years ago matters is that they didn't clean out the guilty parties like Dye. It honestly makes no sense. I know plenty of good Auburn fans that would love to get rid of Dye and Lowder.
