Hey thanks I didn't know we had that option on the view.
I'm OK with the changes. Some of the other message boards out there are light years behind this one on how the threads and post are laid out.

Dark mode isn't the problem, the other changes are. I find dark mode easier to read.

I had the white background and didn't know about the dark till this thread. I'm able to change back and forth with no issues.

seems like every time a message board updates the webpage layout, the amount of white space increases, and the number of posts you can view per screen decreases.

I actually think it looks pretty clean. Not really a major change to site format, which is already great because it's simple and clean with no frills.
To my eye, it just looks like a cleaned up version of the current site. I like the new green online status dot and the new post dots.
I've seen other message boards and the TD format is the best by far.
