I stayed the entire game, but I can understand people leaving. By the time the rain stopped, you were soaked and it got cold real fast.
Plus, the student section coming in 2 hours before the game, so a lot of people were sitting out in the rain 2 hours before kickoff too just to have good seats.

It's the frickin' students these days. Everything has been given to them, they don't appreciate anything because they've never had to work for anything - it's all been handed to them.
Used to be the students were an integral part of a game day atmosphere - and they took pride in doing so. Used to be students were the last to leave - now they're the first.
I want the stand-in-line-for-tickets system reinstated at Carolina. It works. Why they quit doing it is a mystery to me.
It should be that way at every SEC school having problems with students leaving early.

Rant is going off like it is only an LSU problem
The miserable have been out in full force since WINNING last night.
I watched the UGA/N Texas game yesterday afternoon. Looked like it rained a lot and saw empty pockets tied @ 21. Happens everywhere, people don't like being miserable and uncomfortable. Can't blame any of them.

Well the clock reads 0:00 at halftime, and flasks need to be refilled.

See I understand the mindset, LSU was up 21-0 and dominating, it was horrendous conditions and even though the rain stopped, well now the cold starts to set in.
LSU came out flat in the second half and allowed Auburn to come back in the game, but just because it is Auburn and they are an SEC school doesn't mean much right now. Especially in what appeared to be a noncompetitive game. Like playing Vandy, teams get up big and you have no faith Vanderbilt will come back so you leave to find something else to do.
I mean I get it. It just looked bad given the situation, so it's not exactly shocking the Rant of all places got up in arms about it.
It'll be the equivalent of our fans not showing up for the Vandy game last season because the only way the admin were going to fire Joker was if the fans stopped paying the bills. And that picture getting used over and over without context as to try to say UK fans don't support football (when attendance numbers in the previous decade certainly says otherwise). It sucks but it is what it is on the Rant.

People care way too much about what other people do with their time. As if fans leaving early could cost the team the game. It looked fricking miserable at the beginning of the game. I'm surprised that many people showed up in the first place.
Tiger Stadium will always be packed and rocking against a quality opponent.
It is known.

They had probably 15 threads on first page of Scoreboard last night about the fans/stadium
I've gone to games from 80's till today and fans HAVE always left when blowing out opponent or getting blown out

Some people just need to realize not everyone is a diehard fan like most of us on here are.
Sell alcohol at games....problem solved

I'm of the batshit crazy ilk that will stay until the bitter end. I don't give a damn that we're getting beat 75-0. Don't care. I'm here motherfrickers, I paid for this ticket, and I will SEE this to the end.
I may be a masochist.

It's not LSU fans fault that the wildcard played so bad in the first half, and then tried to make it game in the second half

at least Tennessee fans only mass exit the stadium when they are losing

What I don't understand is why this means so much to people who didnt even go to the game.
This. I guess it gives some people some strange feeling of superiority. They're super fans you see. Nt sure what you win for being one, but whatever.

Because I swear reading Tiger Rant it is strictly and LSU problem and every other fan base stays till the clock reads 0:00.
No. Your grammar skills are the problem. You are embarrassing Tulane as well. They don't want you.

the thing about the rain is that they've already sat through it long enough to get to the game and they sat through the worst part in the 1st quarter. Then they left.
I don't understand sitting through the rain, just to leave when it stops....
Temperature dropped like 15 degrees and with a pretty hard wind. I stayed until the 4th quarter but was alot more miserable once the rain stopped. I was soaking wet, freezing my arse off, and my feet were just sitting in waterlogged shoes....
Also, I think alot of it is fans(mainly students) drink so much before the game that once you go into the game and stop drinking you get so tired. You just want to leave and go to sleep or leave to start drinking again
