We have a stable full of backs ready to run wild, but most people have no idea who they are.

Somebody has to step up and be an elite playmaker other than #9. Right now it is just hopeful speculation on if we have anybody who can be that guy.

It feels like gibbs is overhyped by bama (jmo).

The kid is very explosive and he can compliment the passing game. He can "break one" at any time.

It just feels like bama fans are expecting Devonte Smith where he breaks 3 a game.
Maybe im reading too much into it because i would love to have Gibbs in our rotation. He is extremely talented.

What kind of numbers do Bama fans predict from Gibbs?

Someone'll break out. Y'alls roster is 90% 4/5 stars.

It actually is pretty damn interesting how WRs are shying away from Bama though... and I couldn't tell you why. Maybe word gets out between recruits?

You start a thread asking a question about whether or not Alabama has a 'secret weapon', and this is your take on the talent Alabama has at running back? Your thread doesn't make sense. I seriously doubt you're an Alabama fan, and you really suck at trolling.

Anyway, no it's not. Super talented backfield full of players ready to leave their mark. Gibbs may win best running back, and a few others who have battled back from injuries are ready to go. We're as talented as anyone in the nation at RB. Alabama's backfield is as 'secret' as it gets for this team.

09 Julio/Ingram
11 Trent Richardson
12 Cooper/Lacy
13 Hard to say
14 Cooper, Cooper and Cooper
15 Henry/Ridley
16 Hurts
17 Too many to list
18 Too many+Waddle
2019 Too many
2020 Najee/Smith
2021 Williams

History says someone will emerge. Money is on Gibbs, but I wouldn't be surprised if either Burton or Brooks had a big year.

Like you said, Gibbs is extremely talented and very explosive. You are basing that opinion on what you saw from him at a school like Georgia tech, who was not very good. I don't think any Alabama fan is expecting Gibbs to win the Heisman, but we all expect an uptick in his production on an offense with a Heisman winning quarterback and an offensive line that doesn't completely suck like Georgia tech. We also have several very talented backs behind him, and we're excited about them as well.

More than anything, I think bama fans are excited about the change at offensive line coach. We should be much better on the offensive line based on coaching alone this season.

You mean the guys originally recruited for the triple option running whatever offense they have now at GTech?

Boutte played in 6 games ... I would hope he had better numbers. Your sick burn didn't hit like you wished it would did it?

Is it a new tradition for LSU's receivers not to finish a whole season?

All right.

How many yards rushing do you see in 2022? Yards per rush? TDs rushing?

Hoe many yards receiving do you see in 2022? Yards per catch? TDs receiving?

Gibbs is a playmaker in space playing against the ACC (the OL shouldnt be an excuse). For as explosive as Gibbs is, i think your expectations may be too high. Give me your predictions.

Gibbs is the best running back in his class, of course my beloved tigers finished 2nd or 3rd in recruiting him

Don’t forget Gibbs will be playing against SEC defenses not ACC powder puffs - so your assumption is flawed. He has t seen anything about what he is about to see on a week in and week out bases
