People keep saying they expect to see more points, but these excessively long layoffs for the BCSCG usually favor the defense most years.

He was slammed into the ground. Dre literally quit because he was held.

Imtheman2 hit the nail on the head. If Smelley doesn't get touches in this game, Saban will likely need to do some soul searching in the off-season.

Trash the trick plays.

Btw, what is wrong with having TR and Lacy on the field at the same time?

JJ is a big dude, so I don't expect Bama to do to him what they did against Texas/MSU. If Lee sees PT it'll be for some special trick play or throw Bama off with a run.

LSU has been somewhat of an exception to this with regards to January bowls going back to the days of Nick. LSU's offenses have typically performed their best in January. Of course, all of those games were against non SEC defenses.

I see a lot of people in this thread talk about Bama throwing more but that plays right into our hands. If anything, Bama didn't/couldn't run enough on LSU. I think this is what they will focus on. AJ cannot win them this game and Saban knows this. This isn't Auburn you are playing.

The reason LSU won last time was that we were able to stop the run sufficiently. We practically negated it in the 4th quarter which is contrary to what Bama is used to. Bama didn't quite know what to do. I think our defensive front is actually playing even better now with the LBs stepping it up. Be an interesting chess match.

So if both teams use their same game plans from november who will win?

(remember you weren't the only ones with mistakes Bama and special teams is 1/3 of a football game)
