Doubtful. Georgia is a good game for us that I love playing but it's not that important in terms of getting someone fired. You're not Florida nor are you considered a bad loss. You're a good program that we need to get past for SEC play but again not a fireable offense to lose to. That said, it'll likely be yet another 1-3 point game.

Not really. I mean I realize we got Richt fired or at least drove a big nail in his coffin but I'm telling you that the UGA game has zero impact on our coaches. That's not a slam on UGA either. It's just that you're not a big rival or a bad loss. You're a damn good program but our fans don't hate you enough to demand a firing or place enough importance on winning it to uplift a coach.

Part of that comes from being an early season game not named Florida but a ton of it has to do with fans respecting UGA but not hating UGA.

Nah, the fulmer seat was red hot before the uga game in 2006 and 2007 and a loss in either would have likely cost fulmer his job. Fulmer needed those uga games much worse than you would ever admit.

Nope, same shite different year. Win a game you probably shouldn't have in the beginning of the year just to have your heartbroken down the stretch. The swag is always there, the lofty expectations in permenance. They'll go away, soon enough.
