You know - on one hand, I hate the idea of Texas joining. Because they are Texas. And they will attempt to money whip, politic, and everything else under the sun to shift the playing field in their favor. All while loudly barking that they're better - because they are Texas.
On the other hand, I really really want to simply watch that team play against SEC lines for eight games in a row. And then bitch about how it worked out. Because they will lose, and bitch.
Texas has the same mentality that Louisville had for a while. Texas can "get up" for a game. Doing it over an entire schedule is a different animal.

I say again, yes Texas has some arrogant fans just like everyone else, but proceed with skepticism reading these threads because a lot of these folks are not really Texas fans. They are a collection of socks getting their giggles in.
