If so, could an athlete stay eligible in prison and get work release for games?

Would the state place them close to their team/university location?

With modern tech you could implant a tracking device in them and monitor location.

Maybe some rules about further offenses while on work release? 1/2 game suspension?

Coaching staff could include a probation officer.

Could states agree to let a guy portal to another state?
