If there is not a still shot of the video, then the video surely didn't show it, and my point is proven.
I'm sorry, I didn't realize they used still shots to make these decisions. Last time I checked, they used video.
So your point isn't even close to being proved. The video they played over and over clearly showed one foot in bounds at the time of the catch. Peterson was NOT in the air. He had his left foot planted.

BamaHSV, Superman...ya'll are in the minority here.
No. I think it was an interception. My argument is that video evidence was not sufficient to overturn the call on the field. It was clearly a blown call on the field, but video evidence lacked that "proof". I've admitted it was a blown call on the field and should have been an interception time and time again.

I am aware of your argument. Read my post.

Could you perhaps watch one of those videos and take a screen shot at the point in which he had possession and had a foot in bounds? I would really like to see it, and would honestly change my argument.

The majority of Bama fans, all LSU fans, and any impartial fans agree....that was an INT.
By the same token, the majority of LSU fans thought Cory Webster committed PI in 2004, but their consensus still is....
IT WOULD NOT HAVE AFFECTED THE FINAL OUTCOME OF THE GAME.

Every single camera angle that was shown to us on CBS lacked that "proof" that is necessary to overturn a call.
Gary Danielson disagrees.

was nothing there that they could use to overturn the call, because ALL of the camera angles sucked and left at least a little doubt as to whether or not he had possession with a foot in bounds.
bullshite. There was no doubt and the camera angles were practically perfect. There is no excuse for the replay guy except he is dishonest with no integrity.

That's because my perspective is in the minority. The majority, in this case, is full of people who desperately wanted to see that call be overturned.

Have you ever given LSU credit for anything? You're a flaming douche

Not desperately dumbass.
95% of neutral observers feel there was no doubt it should be overturned.
I think you are the desperate one that is trying to convince yourself of bullshite.

The bottom line is that Bama executed better than LSU. We had some stupid penalties and some missed calls. We also had some major injuries. The officials did not help LSU out at all, but that alone did not lose the game. We just got beat, plain and simple. We have a much better team than I expected this year and will be a beast next season
This!

Most every Bama fan wanted the call to be overturned? I don't know about the rest of my comrades, but I was desperately hoping that the call would stand.

We beat you by 16 points that year. This play took away our shot at a game winning drive (hypothetical 7 points) and gave you the opportunity to make it a two score game (real 3 points).
That is a 10 point swing in the 4th quarter with the game on the line.
The Webster incident, on the other hand, was not late in the game. Furthermore, LSU went on to beat you by a substantial margin.
