I wonder what the point of calling an ex-Bama player a former LSU recruit is? If he was good enough to play in at Bama he was probably recruited by 20 or 30 big time programs.
Sounds like a punch line is coming doesn't it?
More than likely just a feeble attempt to widen the net of intrigue for their faithful followers, of which I am not.

Remember who brought down SMU and USC. The media. The NCAA is incompetent and is completely over their heads. Universities, their workers or someone disgruntled involved has to turn over something to them and prove either way for them to act. UNC, SMU, USC Football, USC Basketball, LSU Lester Earl, etc. Their investigations will always turn up nothing. Media sources turning out bribe money will get the dirt they want. They will not let this die until Auburn is toast. Paying Juco superstars and winning National Championships with them will piss people off.

here, I'll put this in the correct thread now...
How bad would it suck to get investigated and sanctioned by the SEC over Chris fricking Keys' worthless arse.
At least if Auburn gets investigated/sanctioned over Cam it was for a player that gave a great ROI. But Chris fricking Keys. FML.

I think SMU was mostly brought down by an over-rated recruit who got hurt and never did much of anything on the field

Some programs get brought down by players than never even play a down.

I will kill every one of his trees if this comes to pass.

What an awesome turn of events...Auburn is still going down and now they are taking Bama with them (over a Bama player they paid to get away from LSU that sucked hahaha). This is fantastic!

At least we (never thought I use that term in regards to UA & AU) have the last 2 BCS Championships to show for it and probably 3 in a row after the 2011 season.

Hurry! The state needs to stockpile to get us through the coming years.

If any of us get to play in 2011.

Here is the real question. If half the SEC got the death penalty, what would we talk about in the SECr?

Easy answer
How much the teams who didn't get penalized deserved to

Another funny and ironic part of this thread is how now the exact same Bama posters that have been flaming Aubbies for 6 months are now almost complicit in the doom of both programs...it is like two redneck step-brothers that have been fueding for years are now cellmates after being busted for meth...they are finding common ground in their prison cell after all...discussing common practices of breaking the law, how they both like having relations with their sister, etc...
The next thing you know, the Bammers and Aubbies will be a unified body against the rest of the SEC...

I don't think they just threw LSU's name in that blog for shits and giggles, just saying.
Although I'm still waiting on any confirmation that this is legitimate. Seems a little "to good to be true", except by good I mean bad.

Oh there would be threads with a sole purpose to pull the others down with us.

People need to wake up and realize that the SEC is a major target for the national media. We're monopolizing the sport of college football and the media heads will do anything in their power to take the conference down.
I knew once the Cam Newton situation blew up, that it would be bad for the entire conference. Especially, when member institutions started playing whistle blower on one another.
This will likely be the first of a series of major PR attacks on the entire conference.
