Did the weekend crew in Birmingham forget they were supposed to protect Bama as a 1 seed?

Really confused. All last month all I heard was Birmingham and the refs were protecting Bama so they would be a number one seed in the tournament. What went wrong? Must have been a miscommunication somewhere. Maybe distracted with division realignment or something

Its really a melt and confusion. Not sure Bama is a 1 seed now or at the least it is in question. The Rant has told me for five weeks that the refs were making sure that Bama would be a 1 seed. I dont know what to believe anymore
