So what if he was drunk? hell, from what I've heard from real old Bama players Bear would get so drunk he used to wake up in the back of linen trucks among other places....no one cared. I don't care...so what? Did he do anything?

That was decades ago. Pretty much all the coaches were drunks back then.
Plus that little thing about Bear Bryant winning all the time. It seems he had a slightly better grip on it than Sumlin, just based on results, don't ya think?

Yeah, he wrecked their program within a week. Unless you think he can get Franks and Eason drunk with him and rebuild his QB corps in the next couple weeks.
